Chairman of the Department of Environment (DoE) and Secretary of Science, Technology, and Renewable Energy for the Chandigarh Government, Mr. T. C. Nautiyal, revealed the bike at NDM Bajaj in the Industrial Area, Phase I.
The following people from Bajaj Auto Ltd. (BAL) were also there: Naved Mohsin, who is the regional service manager; Ankur Aggarwal, who is the area sales manager; and Rahul Gupta, who is the area service manager. Vaibhav Mehan and Nipun Mehan, who run the Bajaj dealership in Chandigarh called NDM Autowheels, were also there. Vaibhav Mehan said that 16 cars were sent out on the day of the launch.
Rakesh Sharma, Executive Director of Bajaj Auto Ltd., said in a release, “The Bajaj Freedom 125 shows how good Bajaj Auto Ltd. is at R&D and manufacturing.”
