The F 450GS, BMW Motorrad’s new adventure bike design, was shown off at EICMA 2025 just yesterday. We now know for sure that the F 450GS, which is ready for production, will be released in Europe early next year.
BMW Motorrad in Germany came up with the idea for the F 450GS and the 450cc engine. The company says they came up with this bike all by themselves. On the other hand, TVS will make the entire F 450GS in India and sell it all over the world. There is a big hole in the market for German cars between the 310 and 900 segments, which the new 450s will fill.
According to the concept art, it has the right GS DNA. Many efforts have been made to make the motorbike small and light, though. A six-speed gearbox is paired with this 450cc parallel-twin liquid-cooled engine, which has a peak output of 48bhp and a maximum torque of 45Nm.
The BMW motorcycle will be equipped with a 6.5-inch TFT screen, lean-sensitive ABS, and multiple riding modes, in addition to completely adjustable USD suspension and appropriate off-road tires. Many of these features will be implemented in the production model.
This new 450cc platform will ultimately succeed the existing 310 bikes. BMW is also contemplating manufacturing a street bike named the F 450R. A supersport or RR variant based on the 450 platform, similar to the 310s, is also possible. The production edition of the F 450GS will be available in India in mid-2025, with a price range of Rs 4 lakh to Rs 4.5 lakh (ex-showroom).
