Undoubtedly seen in a pre-production form in the UK, the Royal Enfield Classic 650 features design elements drawn from its smaller sibling, the Classic 350, including mudguards, headlamp and taillight. Featuring the Royal Enfield emblem written in a vintage-looking font, two peashooter exhausts, spoke wheels with tube tyres, and an engine box plated in chrome, it features a somewhat larger (15-16 liter capacity estimated) and dual-tone (maroon and cream) gasoline tank. The bike gets telescopic forks in the front, dual shocks at the rear, and a tubular steel frame. It appears to use a 320mm disc with a twin-piston floating caliper up front and a 300mm disc with a similar caliper at the rear, both with ABS, same to the Super Meteor. The Classic 650 will probably be displayed at Royal Enfield’s Motoverse event in Goa later this year after its planned premiere at EICMA 2024. One of the most eagerly awaited releases this year is expected to be the pricing information revealed during the event.
