New spy photos show the future Suzuki Access 125 being tested, which suggests that this popular scooter will get a significant facelift. Here are the essential facts:

Design and Features of Suzuki Access 125

  • Updated Aesthetics: The headlamp part of the new model has been redesigned to look sharper than the current model. The front apron and fender haven’t changed much, but there will likely be a new back mudguard and a heat-shielded exhaust system.
  • Enhanced Practicality: Some changes that could be made are a bigger floorboard and more storage space under the seats. There will also likely be new features like hazard lights and an updated digital instrument cluster that can connect to a smartphone.
  • Spy Images: The newest spy photos of bikes are hidden, but they show a more severe design with LED headlights with two bulbs and an exhaust finished in chrome.

Engine and Performance of Suzuki Access 125

  • Powertrain: The scooter will likely retain its existing 124cc, single-cylinder, air-cooled engine, producing around 8.7 bhp and 10 Nm of torque. It will continue to use a CVT transmission
  • Suspension: The front suspension will likely stay the same, with telescopic springs and a single shock at the back.

Launch Timeline of Suzuki Access 125

  • Expected Release: The updated Suzuki Access 125 should come out before Diwali later this year. Prices will only go up a little because it has more features.

Competition

  • The Honda Activa 125, TVS Jupiter 125, and Hero Destini 125 are some of the most famous scooters in India. The Access 125 will continue to compete with them to keep its place in the 125cc scooter market.

The Access 125 already comes with a good amount of features, such as a USB charging port and bag hooks. For each version, the metal wheels and seat will be a different color. The base model costs Rs. 82,300, and the top-of-the-line trim costs Rs. 93,000 (both prices are ex-showroom).

Suzuki is likely to keep the same 125cc single-cylinder engine in the updated Access 125, but they may change some parts inside to give it more torque, smoothness, and economy. The updated Suzuki Access 125 is expected to be shown for the first time at the 2025 Bharat Expo. It will then be officially released.
